The Divine Light of Christ is the One and Only Transcendent Light of God, and God Is the Eternal transcendent Light of Existence and Reality. The True Eternal Divine Light is not dependent upon anything, and nothing precedes Its existence. Eternal Light is Eternal Life, and Eternal Life is Eternal Consciousness. Anything that exists, including all worlds, heavens and hells, and all possible bodily forms are not Eternal, and anything that changes (in Any way) is not Eternal. The Divine Light has not been formed, and nothing existed before It to create Divine Light, and anything that comes after It is not It, but only a shimmer within It.
To simply call the Divine Light God (or any name) does not praise the Divine Light but limit what the mind perceives the Divine Light to Be. Eternal Light is the Name before all names, and that name is Nameless, the Eternal Name is something that can’t be uttered by lips and mouths, and no tongue could pronounce the Eternal Name. Eternal Light and Eternal Life is Eternal Consciousness, and Eternal Light is so much more than any concept of God, and Eternal Light is beyond any attempt to focus on one aspect of the Divine Light’s qualities perceived through a point of view (body). To call the Divine Light of Eternal Life God is not a full explanation, and the Eternal Light of Life and Consciousness gives Existence to all that exists. Nothing existed before the Eternal Light, and this Light is indestructible and unfathomable, and Eternal Consciousness is prior to a bodily form and no bodily form can contain It.
The Eternal Light of Truth is not within us, rather, we are within It. This is the Very Same Light that Jesus Christ has called all to surrender unto and to give up the attachment to personal self so the Eternal Light can Freely live Its life through the individual. Christ’s Light does not shine form a direction nor is It emitted from a source in time and space. Christ’s Light is beyond all that appears; yet, Christ’s Light is fully capable of Shining freely through the things that appear within It.

To understand the previous quote one must understand the Eternal Light. How can that which is in perpetual change, constant flux and dependent on the appearance of space/time become the Eternal Light? It can’t, but if the individual sacrifices their feeling of personal self into the Divine Light of Consciousness the Eternal One will transform the individual bodily form to become Transparent to the Divine Shine of Eternal Light. However, as long as the individual seeks their own will in life, and seeks to become something other than what they already are there will be the darkness of ego self and sin.
The life of a personal self is like an eclipse that covers the Divine Light of Christ within the individual. This activity of darkness is the root of sin and unless the root of personal self is purged it will continue to eclipse the Eternal Light of True Self. Christ was the first to Know God in God’s Eternal Light, and to Know God’s Light is to Know one Self as that Very Same Light. Thus, death has no power over one that has been Resurrected by Eternal Light, and this is because only bodily forms experience birth and death, and when the body/mind/soul comes to the end of its bodily life the (Enbrightened) individual simply takes refuge from death in the Eternal Light of Consciousness. This is why Jesus Christ can say the Kingdom of God is upon the Earth and Alive amongst us, and at the same time we can understand that no bodily form, nothing that is perishable, can become Eternal.
The Eternal Light of Utterly Perfect Consciousness is already present and the whole of Earth (and all of space and time) is manifesting within It, and not It within us. It is through the individual’s conscious relationship (with Guru, with Christ) with Eternal Light and Consciousness that Eternal Life is given and received by the individual. Perfection is not something that can be given to the imperishable, but that which is perishable can Realize the Imperishable and surrender all consciousness unto It. The Divine truth here is that the Imperishable and Eternal Light of God is the One that Lives as us, and not us as It. The Fullness of this revelation requires the total death of personal identity and will into the Eternal Light, and from the ashes of ego death comes (from the right-heart of the Spiritual Cross) the Resurrection (Current) of the True Light of Eternal Consciousness As the individual.
The individual body is being called to the Eternal Fires of Transfiguration (purging individual of personal self), and through that Transfiguration the individual is Transformed and purged of the false sense of self. Moreover, the sense of self is replaced with the Eternal Sense of true Self; the individual’s sense of existence itself is grounded and stabilized by the (progressively realized) surrender of personal self into the Eternal Consciousness. True Self does not depend on a body in order to Be, and there are no bodily forms, and there never will be any bodily forms that are required or necessary for Eternal Life. Eternal Life, Eternal Consciousness and Eternal Light have never required a body to exist, and Eternal Light is before the appearance of any and all bodily forms, worlds, heavens and hells. The calling to Realize Eternal Transcendental Light is your True destiny, and that Destiny solely depends on the individual turning to Eternal Light and surrendering the sum-total of personal self unto God’s Eternal Presence.
